Mission Eurasia Canada – Volunteer Opportunities
Based in Cambridge, Ontario – Serving Across Canada
Mission Eurasia Canada exists to train, equip, and mobilize national Christian leaders throughout Eurasia and Israel for evangelism, church planting, holistic ministry, and church growth—so that their nations may be transformed for Christ.
From our office in Cambridge, Ontario, we are building a Canada-wide volunteer team to strengthen this mission through administration, events, awareness, outreach, prayer, and support services. Some roles can be done remotely from anywhere in Canada.
We invite committed Christians to use their gifts and experience to help advance the gospel and support the next generation of Christian leaders in Eurasia and Israel.
General Qualifications for All Volunteer Roles
All volunteers are expected to:

Be a Bible-believing Christian with a mature and growing faith

Have a genuine passion for global and cross-cultural missions
-
Desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
-
Be an active, committed member of an evangelical Christian local church
-
Communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)

Maintain a lifestyle and conduct consistent with Christian values and the mission of Mission Eurasia Canada
Assets (Not Required):
-
Russian and/or Ukrainian language skills
-
Previous experience in missions, church ministry, events, communications, administration, or fundraising

Church Relations & Outreach Volunteer
(Primarily Cambridge, ON-based)
Purpose:
To strengthen and expand Mission Eurasia Canada’s partnerships with local churches across Canada, sharing our vision and building support for our ministries in Eurasia and Israel.
Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls and send emails to Canadian churches to introduce Mission Eurasia’s work

Follow up with existing church partners to maintain and deepen relationships

Assist in scheduling and organizing meetings, presentations, or speaking engagements
-
Distribute informational materials to church leadership and key contacts
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week
Event Planning & Management Volunteer
(Primarily Cambridge, ON-based)
Purpose:
To assist in designing, planning, and executing purposeful events that raise awareness and support for the next generation of Christian leaders in Eurasia and Israel.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and logistics of fundraising dinners, awareness events, and ministry updates

Coordinate with vendors, venues, and event speakers as needed
-
Manage event registration, communication, and on-the-day logistics

Work collaboratively with staff to ensure events are aligned with our mission and core values
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week (may increase around event dates)
Volunteer Coordinator
(Primarily Cambridge, ON-based)
Purpose:
To steward our human resources by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting a dedicated team of volunteers who are passionate about our mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify volunteer needs within Mission Eurasia Canada and develop recruitment strategies
-
Assist in screening, interviewing, onboarding, and training new volunteers
-
Maintain the volunteer database and track volunteer hours and roles
-
Organize volunteer appreciation efforts and foster an encouraging, team-oriented environment
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week
Prayer Ministry Coordinator
Purpose:
To mobilize ongoing, focused prayer for Mission Eurasia’s Bible-centred work, ensuring our ministries in Eurasia and Israel are continually covered in prayer.
Key Responsibilities:

Gather timely prayer requests from Mission Eurasia’s field staff and partners
-
Develop and distribute regular prayer communications (e.g., weekly email, monthly bulletin)

Organize and facilitate virtual or in-person prayer meetings in Canada
-
Encourage individuals, small groups, and churches to commit to praying for the next generation in Eurasia and Israel
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week
Regional Network & Outreach Coordinator
Purpose:
To expand Mission Eurasia Canada’s reach and awareness across Canada by coordinating regional champions who will share our mission and build local networks of support.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage individuals or groups (e.g., churches, small groups, community leaders) who can serve as local representatives
-
Support regional contacts in developing strategies to raise awareness and support in their communities
-
Provide resources and guidance to help them share our vision, values, and impact
-
Facilitate connections between Mission Eurasia Canada and potential new partners in various regions
-
Help coordinate local informational meetings or small-scale events
-
Maintain regular communication with regional contacts to ensure they are equipped and connected to the national office
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week
