SUMMER OF HOPE CAMPS
SHARING GOD’S LOVE AND HEALING WITH UKRAINIAN CHILDREN OF WAR

Sadly, the war in Ukraine continues to rage for the second year... In the midst of this darkness, the need for hope could not be more acute, especially for the more than five million displaced children of Ukraine who have experienced the horrors of war firsthand. These young, innocent lives are often the most vulnerable victims of the war and, at the same time, the most overlooked.
That’s why Mission Eurasia is sponsoring Summer of Hope camps again this year for the traumatized children of Ukraine. Using our vision, experience, trained staff, as well as our extensive ministry networks, we are planning Summer of Hope camps for at least 20,000 displaced and refugee children this summer in Poland, Moldova, and Ukraine.
A major focus of these camps will be helping Ukrainian refugee and displaced children heal from the trauma of war.
That’s why we are holding three training events in Moldova and Ukraine that will train a total of 2,000 volunteer trauma counselors from our School Without Walls training program, our Next Generation Professional Leaders Initiative, as well as from local church partners throughout the region.
We have already seen tremendous results from this trauma counseling ministry in the lives of children who attended our summer camps in 2022. Many of these children are now recovering from the horrors of war and are connected to local churches, where they are growing in their faith. We believe that, with your help, even greater results can take place in 2023.
Our Summer of Hope camps will take many forms—day camps, weekend camps, week-long camps, and family camps. At camp, each refugee child will hear the gospel, enjoy nutritional food, engage in Bible-centered activities, take part in crafts and sports, and experience the love and care of trained volunteer trauma counselors who will help them overcome their emotional trauma. Each child will also receive a children’s Bible or other copy of age-appropriate Scripture to help them begin their personal journey of faith in Jesus.
Give a Refugee Child a Day of Hope and a Bible for Just $40 CAD at our Summer of Hope Bible Camps
It costs only $40 CAD to give a refugee child the opportunity to spend a day at one of our special Summer of Hope Bible camps and receive his or her own children’s Bible or Bible storybook.
The total cost to provide Summer of Hope Bible camps for 20,000 refugee or displaced children and to provide each child with a Bible or Bible storybook is $800,000 CAD.

Support a True Summer of Hope: Help Us Bring Bible Camps to Refugee Children in Need!
In addition to participating in special faith-building activities, each child will receive his/her own specially designed children’s Bible or Bible storybook in his/her own language that can be shared with friends and other family members once camp is over.

These special summer Bible camps will be just the first step in building long-lasting relationships with these vulnerable children and their families.
