Sitting in his modest kitchen, he pulled out a well-worn Bible, its pages covered with handwritten notes. “This,” he said, pointing to the marked-up passages, “is my prayer manual for the nations.” That moment perfectly captured what we’ve discovered about the powerful connection between Scripture and prayer in mission work across Eurasia.
